The tradition of the Fishing Derby lives on for the ninth year! Join us at Village Pond where Idaho Fish and Game will provide poles, bait and instruction to catch “the big one”. The derby is for kids 12 and under but everyone is invited to fish.

Description:

This private pond does not require any fishing license and is open to our Elkhorn Residents and Guests.  This pond is stocked annually with Rainbow Trout ranging in size from 9 to 18 inches.  Some trout have been recorded at over 24 inches weighing 2 to 3 pounds!  Fishing fun for the entire family. The pond officially opens for public fishing on July 10th.
