Fishing Derby MW 2013 (22)The Trout fishing derby is sure to be one of the most exciting events of the summer!

Kids will get the opportunity to learn from a real life Fish & Game officer. Fish and Game will have their information trailer on site for teaching all about Idaho fisheries . Learn how to catch, clean and cook the trout!

Prizes awarded during this free event. Fun for ages 5 to 12. Parents and Grandparents may also join the fun as long as you are accompanied and supervised by a child!

Description:

This private pond does not require any fishing license and is open to our Elkhorn Residents and Guests.  This pond is stocked annually with Rainbow Trout ranging in size from 9 to 18 inches.  Some trout have been recorded at over 24 inches weighing 2 to 3 pounds!  Fishing fun for the entire family. The pond officially opens for public fishing on July 10th.
